Dr. Eric Goldstein

Eric Goldstein is Judith London Evans Director at the Tam Institute for Jewish Studies at Emory University where he is also Associate Professor of History and Jewish Studies. He is the author of Price of Whiteness: Jews, Race, and American Identity (Princeton University Press, 2006), and with Deborah R. Weiner, On Middle Ground: A History of the Jews of Baltimore (John Hopkins Press, 2018).

From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Goldstein was the editor of the scholarly journal, American Jewish History. His current project explores the reading culture of Yiddish-speaking immigrants to the United States.
